How To Install

The Basics

Getting Started

Installing our fences and gates is a DIY-friendly process. On this page you’ll also find a list of the Tools You’ll Need and Installation Videos to guide you through each step.

  1. Measure Your Space

    • Use a tape measure to determine the total width of the area where your fence and/or gate will go.
    • Decide how you want to divide the space.
    • Example: A 10 ft opening could be filled with a 4 ft gate and a 6 ft fence panel.
  2. Plan Your Layout

    • Mark the positions where each post will go (at gate edges and between fence panels).
    • Keep maximum product sizes in mind:

      • Fence panels: up to 6 ft wide
      • Single gates: up to 6 ft wide
      • Double swing gates: up to 13 ft wide
    • Example: A 20 ft opening could use a 13 ft double gate with fence panels on either side.
  3. Customize if Needed

    • Our system is designed to adapt:

      • Slats can be trimmed width-wise for narrower openings.
      • Posts can be cut height-wise for a shorter fence.
    • This means you can tailor the system to fit your exact space while staying within the maximum height of 6 ft.
  4. Mark Your Posts

    • Once your layout is set, mark the post positions with spray paint or stakes before digging holes or setting posts.
  5. Post-Setting Options (all available to select at checkout when purchasing your kit)

    • Mounting on top of concrete → use our base plates & covers
    • Setting into concrete → use our post extenders
    • Attaching to a wall → simply drill and secure the posts directly (no extra accessory needed)
